Why are people more worried about the dignity of an evil despotic man than they are the thousands he had raped, tortured and killed? Why do people look upon Fidel Castro as a good man and George Bush as the bad one? Why were people calling for Ethiopia and the Somali government to stop their attacks on the Islamists when they were on the verge of victory? Why is it that evil men are just misunderstood and good man are lambasted? Why do people try to impose their own thinking process into a person that thinks nothing like they do?
What makes a leftist think that everything would be fine of the government controlled all? What makes the elimination of personal responsibility to appealing? The only answer that government can provide is national defense and the enforcement of law and trade. Anything beyond this belongs in the realm of the individual. To hand control of ones future over to the government is to enslave yourself. The leftist has taken "All men are created equal" and warped it into a all societies and ideas are equal. This is not true. Saddam Hussein, Bashir Assad, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, Kim Jong-il, and Fidel Castro are not equal to George W. Bush with all of his flaws. I would even place William Jefferson Clinton above these men. There's one reason, George and William are mine. They are American, flaws, vices, and all that go with them.
Despite their opposing ideologies, they are American. They are part of the American culture. They are pert of the most just and righteous culture on the planet. Xenophobic, who cares. Until other cultures can achieve what we have through individual ingenuity and personal responsibility, we are the superior culture. The only ones who can destroy us is us. Other nations have aligned themselves to attack us militarily and economically. They see our downfall as something worth achieving. Instead of raising themselves up, they want to bring us down. In opposition, we want to bring others up. To all of you "America is evil" crowd, which of these is the more righteous?
Good and evil are not relative. People use words to try and justify certain acts and deeds but they are just empty words. The only ones that believe them are the ones who want to. The ones who have failed and need someone to blame. The ones who have failed and despise others who refuse to give in. America was founded by people who refused to give in. Good or bad, they fought and struggled. Now we live in a generation of people that would deny their forefathers their rightful righteousness. We judge our forefathers based on guilt we have no right to carry. I am not guilty for my Father's, Grandfather's, or Great Grandfather's sins. In fact, I am guilty of no man's sin but my own. I will not judge those that came before based on modern interpretations of civility. There is no man that can make me feel guilty for their actions.
I have achieved and failed in my life based upon my own action or inaction. The government may set the rules but it is my responsibility to live within them. If the government were to have control over my life it's value would be diminished. I would be nothing more than an automaton. When you have handed over your life to the government, you have successfully committed suicide. You no longer have the right to bettering your life or achieving personal goals. In fact, when you hand control over to the government you start speaking French.
