If I were running for President

If I were a multimillionaire capable for properly running for President of the United States the following would be the issues of my platform.

1. US out of the UN, UN out of the US.
Enough of their pathetic whining while dining on other peoples money. Enough of their pathetic drivel while they acquiesce to despots who murder hundreds of people daily. Enough of their faux toughness while they provide a platform to any tyrant who feels like ranting against the United States and Israel.

2. No new nukes until we use the old ones.
The reason these pathetic excuse for nations will stand up to us is because they know we carry self inflicted guilt for being the only nation to have use nuclear weapons in wartime. Guess what? If we were to use them now many if not all of the problems in the Middle East and South America would go away. Not one American soldier would have to die at the hands of a murderous fanatic wearing a rag on his head.

3. Any war entered into will be fought for complete victory.
Any invasion into another sovereign nation will be treated as Germany was in WWII. All the indigenous people are enemies until proven otherwise. Once the war is won, WE will run that country until WE see fit to leave.
4. Any national government found sponsoring a terror organization is considered an enemy. If one American dies as victim to this terror organization then platform item two takes affect.

5. All islamists will be deported.
Because we have not heard the voices screaming from the roof tops claiming that the actions of these terrorists is an apostasy, we cannot trust you. If you want trust you must earn it.

6. City and State laws NEVER take precedence over federal laws.
Certain cities have problems understanding this one.

7. The present immigration laws will be made more stringent and those that are here illegally, no matter how long they've been here, will be deported. No sob story will keep you from being shipped out. It is a privilege to be accepted legally into this country. You have no rights under our constitution other than those we agree to give you. Being American does matter. We will not have our country subverted by those wishing to make us like the pathetic pi$$-ant country they snuck out of.

8. Taxes will be lowered.
No person has a right to the money I earn just as I don't have a right to another's money. The taxes I pay are for the protection of my fellow citizens and the defense of this nation. Anything else is wasted. I am willing to support those who are legitimately handicapped. I AM NOT willing to pay for a person to sit on their more than physically capable butt while they milk the system.

9. The Cabinet will be reduced. First to go will be the Dept's of Education and Interior.
Leave it up to the states to handle these issues. Ever since the Federal government got involved both of these areas have gone to hay.

I have numerous others but this is all I have time for now.

A Patriots Cry

I highly recommend reading Michael Freund's latest column: "I Want My Country Back". He compares the recent attempt at Major League Baseball's most elated record with the Israeli government.

FOR ISRAEL has its own "Barry Bonds problem," though it is far more dangerous, and more lethal, than the one across the Atlantic. Because the Jewish state has been cheated as well - by its leadership, which continues to fiddle while the country burns.

Like Bonds, our politicians claim glorious titles for themselves and seek to command our respect, even as they spit upon everything we hold dear.

...Six decades ago the Jews stunned the world by marching out of Europe's ovens and back onto the world stage. Renascent Israel's head was held high as it fought to reclaim the Jews' rightful destiny. Now, it seems, the pride is gone, the integrity has dissipated, and our leaders excel only at groveling and appeasement.

Our government releases terrorists on a whim, all because they have signed a piece of paper promising that, honestly and truly, cross their hearts and hope to die, they will never, ever try to murder innocent Jews again.

We hand over funds to the Palestinian Authority in the form of tax money (or should I say protection money?), even though it goes to pay salaries for the leaders of Hamas, as Israel Radio reported on Monday.

The entire article is poignant and well worth reading. Hopefully somebody in the Israeli government takes heed.

So it begins

Hamas and Fatah confront each other through college students in Nablus.

Hamas politburo chief Khaled Mashaal had recently warned Fatah against underestimating Hamas' strength in the West Bank.

This was a blatant warning to Mahmoud Abbas about what was to come. He doesn't seem to hear very good. Then again, he probably doesn't know what to do. After having failed in the Gaza Strip he is going to watch as people are murdered in the West Bank and that territory is taken over by Hamas. So far it is Mashaal 1, Abbas 0. A 2-0 score would be a route and mean that Abbas is dead. This also implies that hundreds, maybe thousands, of the "Palestinians" that are Abbas responsibility would have been killed. So much for that vaunted partner in peace.

Mashaal doesn't want peace with Israel. He wants the land that Israel currently sits on. He wants all of the Israelis and Jews gone from the region. He wants to setup his little nation so he can continue to kiss up to his sponsors in Damascus and Tehran. He considers himself to be a man of destiny, even more so than Ahmadinejad. He will kill whoever he needs to to attain the power he seeks. Living comfortably in Damascus he sends others out to die for him. Tragically they do it joyfully.

Take note of this day. College campuses are usually the stirring pot for any kind of revolution nowadays. It sure sucks to be a "Palestinian".

The stakes are higher

To those who have been sleeping or ignoring events in the Middle East, the stakes have risen. The status quo has shifted and the "same ol'" can't be relied on to occur.

Iran is in the process of developing a nuclear ability that will allow it to build destructive weapons. It is lead by a fanatic who believes that he is paving the way for the 12th imam of islamic lore. this maniac has allied himself with a fellow despot in Damascus as well as terror islamic terror organizations in Lebanon, Syria, "Palestine" and Iraq. He has been given support from a tyrant in Venezuela and a fellow maniac in North Korea. Anywhere there is anti-American and anti-Western sympathies, he has made inroads.

His fellow despot in Damascus is throwing out overtures of peace towards Israel for all the world to see while he rearms and redeploys his own military as well as the terror groups in "Palestine" and Lebanon. The world conveniently refuses to acknowledge this. Despite the Syrian army withdrawing from Lebanon, nothing there has really changed. Now the pro-Syrian insurgents and sympathizers can provide cover for the directing coming from Damascus.

As for the "Palestinian territories", Hamas now rules. They too are led out of Damascus. Having received the vote of the people they have attained a certain perceived level of credibility. The ignorant's that live in the west call it a victory for democracy as if an election was all that was needed to obtain democracy. The "palestinians" are the largest receivers of aid in the history of the UN. They receive more money and food than any other. If money is truly what provides affluence and growth, they should have been the most educated and advanced people on the planet. So much for that dated leftist bunk. Hamas has taken over the Gaza Strip. They will soon start agitating in the West Bank. There is nothing that the PLO can do about. Declaring Hamas illegal in the West Bank is like telling a kid he can't have a cookie. Hamas will only be more obstinate and violent. More "Palestinians" will die as a result of their "election". They chose violence and will now face the consequences.

What does all of this mean? Israel's enemies have allied, armed, and are in the process of setting up a full scale attack on the tiny sliver of a nation. There is not one inch of Israeli land that cannot be hit by these enemies. If an invasion were planned out properly, Israel wouldn't have enough arms or soldiers to defend itself without outside help.

If the enemy attempts this during the present tenure of Ehud Olmert it may stand a chance. If it waits until someone like Benjamin Netanyahu, the story changes. What the enemy does is not as important as what Israel will do. Will it defend the promised land or will it hand it back over to the Canaanites and Philistines?

This is a surprise how?

Hizbullah has the ability to launch rockets against any point in Israel, the organization's leader, Hassan Nasrallah said on Sunday.

This shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone. However, there are only two ways that this is possible.
One. Hizbollah has attained better rockets than what they had last summer. If this is the case, where did they come from? Iran and Syria would be the expected culprits. If this is the case, what is Israel, especially Ehud Olmert, prepared to do?

Secondly. They have an alliance setup with Hamas and other militant wings of the "Palestinian" territories. This would be a more dangerous scenario than the first.

Then again, Nasrallah could be blowing smoke and practicing the typical bogus arab saber rattling. However, can Israel take the risk of non-action?

I would wager on the second explanation. With Syria and Iran pulling their typical ploys, Hamas and Hizbollah could fall right in line and be good little allies for the two major despots in the region.

More what's to come

Hamas leaders on Thursday condemned Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas's decision to hold early parliamentary and presidential elections and vowed to foil the vote.

They also accused Abbas of conspiring with Israel to assassinate Hamas leaders in the Gaza Strip.

This is humorous. Khalid Mashaal had put off killing Mahmoud Abbas because he was considered useful. Now Hamas is claiming that Abbas wants to kill Hamas' leadership. Don't you just love Middle East politics. Fatah loses in the Gaza Strip and flees to the West Bank. Hamas is attempting to agitate there and Abbas calls on the Fatah militia to turn in all their weapons. Then he attempts to ban Hamas in the West Bank while calling for early elections.

Hamas
will not put up with this. Syria and Iran won't allow it. At some point Mashaal will give the word and the battle from Gaza will move to the West Bank. Abbas has proven that he doesn't have the knowledge to deal with a war so he will be forced to flee or die after watching his followers die. Hamas will not sit by idly while Mahmoud Abbas acts like he is in charge. The only thing that could prevent the West Bank from being taken over by Hamas is an invasion, by Israel, into the Gaza Strip. If Ehud Olmert truly believes that Mahmoud Abbas is a partner in peace then he needs to do everything he can to support him. This means putting Israeli soldier's lives on the line.

I don't believe Abbas is a legitimate peace partner. I don't think that 100 Hamas or Fatah lives are worth one Israeli soldier's life. But I do think that the decimation of Hamas and it's supporters in the Gaza Strip would be good for the region and for the world.

War is ensured

Even if Mahmoud Abbas were the good man I don't think he is, he is in a no win situation in regards to Hamas.

Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas announced on Wednesday that he was working toward holding early parliamentary and presidential elections and said there would be no dialogue with
Hamas until the Islamist movement ended its violent "coup" in the Gaza Strip.

If Abbas were to allow things to continue on their present course the split within "Palestine" would continue to widen. By refusing to talk to Hamas and calling for early elections, Abbas is ensuring more murderous attacks. The situation he is in was started centuries ago and has only escalated at an increasing rate over the last 59 years. There is nothing he can do about it.

Even if Abbas calls early elections, it's unlikely that the vote would also be held in the
Gaza Strip. Hamas officials have made it clear that they won't accept early elections under the current circumstances.

Israel may get a mild reprieve when Hamas declares it's own state and continues to agitate in the West Bank. The "Palestinian" civil war has started. Abbas versus Mashaal is where we stand now. Who has the power, authority, and resolve to win this conflict? As of now the edge goes to Hamas. They have the finances from Syria and Iran as well as the arms and hatred to go with it.

In regards to the conference that President Bush has called for:

"This conference will help a lot in boosting the peace process," Abbas added. "Whenever the international community meets, this leads to positive results for the peace process."

This is pure delusion. What positive results?

As usual, this is only going to get worse. Countries and organizations in the Middle East are taking up sides and trying to win themselves allies and support. It's only a matter of time before we see the war that governments have tried to prevent for decades. Tragically it was the action of these same governments that have led to this point.

Who cares about reports!?

Is Israel prepared for war or not? The question really doesn't matter. The answer, whether it is correct or not, needs to be yes. Israel can never be not prepared for war. The region that Israel exists as well as the enemies that surround it doesn't allow for Israel to not be ready for war.

This is something that Ehud Olmert and Shimon Peres need to get in their heads. All of this overture of peace with those who will stop at nothing to anihilate Israel is ludicrous. If Israel's neighbors want peace they need to be the ones to cede and come to the table. Israel has sacrificed enough.

While all of this political banter is taking place the IDF and the IAF need to be building up their forces, conducting massive training operations, and laying plans to defend Israel on at least four fronts. The Winograd and Lindenstrauss reports are worthless pieces of paper. The blame lays with the Government and the Military Hierarchy no matter how the reports try to paint it. The Government failed the military which failed the people of Israel. So technically, the Israeli people failed themselves.

Whoever decided that it was ok to deal and negotiate with terrorists and murdered needs to have their head examined. The moment of fantasy has passed and reality must take hold. All decisions and actions from this point out need to be based on fact. DO NOT give in to external pressures. Europe is not worried about the immediate threat that Iran or Syria pose. Europe is dealing with an islamist problem that is self induced. Israel is dealing with an islamist problem that is calling for it's complete eradication. The situations may be similar but they are not the same.

The investigations and reports that Israel is wasting time and money on will point to the obvious. Instead of focusing on history, learn from it and focus on now and look to the future. All of this bickering and finger pointing resolves nothing. If anything it makes Israel's enemies that much stronger.

What's coming up next?

If it is true that "Palestinians" in the Gaza Strip are disenchanted with the leadership of Hamas, what happens next? My conjecture:

If elections actually take place, Hamas should be voted out of power. However, this puts Hamas back into a position that it is more comfortable with. A pure terrorist organization not held down by bad politics. They can recommence all out attacks on Israel as well as on Fatah. Not being constrained by self-imposed limitations, minimal they may be, they can go about killing Israelis and "Palestinians" without having to explain each event.
This is what we have to look forward to. With Syria playing games up North and Hizbollah attempting to build its own nation as well as Iran continuing its nuclear development, despite what the UN has stated, Israel will be no safer with Hamas out of governmental power. In fact, the situation will have gotten even worse.

Even in the west a politician has to live up to his word sometime or another. The Islamists haven't learned this yet. Tragically, western government as just as blissfully ignorant. Despite the continuation of lies and deception we jump feet first into every vacuous promise the islamists make then wonder how we got into this mess.

What a wonderful species we are.

Resolve over complacency

I stated awhile back that Mahmoud Ahmadinejad was playing the same game that Saddam Hussein had attempted. Just like Saddam, Mahmoud has China and Russia in his pockets. The difference this time being, due to failed intelligence and a bad strategical plan, the West is even more afraid to act. There has been recent agitation within Iran that has led people to believe that the regime could be toppled from the inside. Unfortunately, we have read similar stories on and off since 1979.

The same intelligence services that failed us prior to and after 9/11 are still be utilized for information today. Despite all of the bureaucratic rhetoric, nothing has changed. Lifelong bureaucrats and political appointees are only concerned about their own well being and futures. The intel needed has to be gathered by people on the ground not a bunch of desk jockeys listening to phone conversations. HUMINT is always better than any other source. The man on the scene knows and is aware to more than the guy looking at pictures.

History tells us that the weak are obliterated and replaced by the strong. By this, the people with the strongest resolve always win out. It may not be a pretty victory, it may not be a quick one. But they do win. What good is all of this technology in the West if we have gotten soft using it? Being able to work out a math problem with a pencil and paper is better than relying on a computer. Even today, the simplest things work and are more affective.

If a guy is threatening to beat you over the head with a baseball bat you don't too much care on winning his "heart and mind". Your major concern should be how to defend your self and respond to the attack. Iran is picking up the baseball bat as we continue to talk. Instead of preparing, we are talking. Get ready to have our heads bashed in.

Get over it already

If all it takes for there to be peace in the Middle East is for a "two state solution" then all of the Arabic leaders should have come down with full force on Yassir Arafat for walking away from Oslo. This idea that the "Palestinian issue" is the driving cause behind violence in the Middle East is asinine and intentionally misleading. Everywhere the "Palestinians" go they espouse and practice violence. They are either treated with kid gloves or they are routed and sent packing. The fact of the matter is there could be a nation of Palestine tomorrow and none of it would matter. Arabs and islamists would continue to kill each other and blame Israel. When that starts to wear thin the can blame America and the West. It's never their own fault.

If I lived in constant 120 degree weather with sandstorms I would be irritable and angry also. There has to be something to the joke that the desert heat has fried their brains. They practice an unforgiving religion in an unforgiving region. Their religion is as barren yet dangerous as the desert they make their homes in.

Enough of the two state solution farce. "Palestinians" have nothing to do with Saudi, Yemeni, Syrian, Lebanese, Iraqi, or Iranian problems. The problems with each of these nations is their own. As I have stated over and over, the "Palestinians" are nothing but canon fodder to be used to keep Israel as well as the citizens of the aforementioned nations occupied and ignorant of the real problems. What does an Iranian in Tehran have to do with Sderot? What does a Syrian have to do with Ashkelon? Not a darn thing!

Let the "Palestinians" fend for themselves. If they are decimated so be it. If they decide to make a go at living instead of killing so be it. Enough with the faux concern over a non-existent peoples in an unwanted land. If you want to stop the violence in the Middle East then just stop the violence. America did not create the downfall of the islamic civilization. Israel had nothing to do with the failed ideology from yesteryear. GET OVER IT!

Have we had enough

When Hassan Narallah gets the word from his master Hizbollah will turn all of it's attention to overthrowing the Lebanese government. If intel is correct, which would be amazing, Hizbollah is fully armed and ready to go. They have been able to buy off whatever resistance was left in Southern Lebanon and as long as Ehud Olmert is in charge in Israel he has nothing to worry about. Syria has both Lebanon and Israel right where it wants them.

Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has supposedly agreed to UN negotiations. Yeah right. This is more of the Saddam Hussein approach to wards diplomacy. Talk, talk, talk, and more talk. All the while Iran continues along with whatever progress it is making. At some point Iran will claim that the UN is being dictated by US interest and will halt all talks and kick out any inspectors. Once again the world has learned nothing.

No matter how you look at the war in Lebanon last year it was a failure for everyone involved but Hizbollah. It is probably more popular now than it was before the war. They survived the Zionist attack and have come away with more perceived authority.

As for Hamas, They are left with what they wanted. A piece of land they can control. Never mind the fact they lack the resources and intelligence to do anything with it. They will continue to receive funds from their islamic brethren to keep them nipping at the heels of Israel. This is what Syria and Iran want anyhow.

Now the UN is actually investigating which country "owned" Mount Dov prior to Israel capturing it. First it was Syrian now it may be Lebanese. What a joke. According to the UN, Israel had withdrawn from all territory considered Lebanese after 2000. Now they actually want to revisit a decision made 80 years ago and endorsed continuously over the same time frame. Israel, get ready to get jipped.

We can all relax now

Phew! I feel so much better. All along I have been castigating Hizbollah as a terror group. I have now been corrected and I feel so much better.

Hizbullah is part of Lebanese politics and must not be regarded as a terror organization, said the French Foreign Ministry in a statement Thursday night.

This is just the way Lebanese politics works. I guess this will hep redefine Hamas as well. They are nothing but a cog in the "Palestinian" political machine. Al Quaeda can be thrown into Afghan politics. The Mujahadeen And PFLP are also "Palestinian" political components. This will make life so much easier now. We can bring every soldier home and let the politics rule.

Enough of the sarcasm. Meet the new France, same as the old France. Would somebody donate these idiots a clue? What if all Political parties acted in this manner? We could enjoy wars in every country not just on every continent. You don't like a certain law, kill the people who support it. You don't want to pay an extra 1% tax, blow up the company that makes the component. This might actually makes things easier. Instead of looking for answers to problems you just destroy it. Wonderful!

If this comment had come from an American politician there would be outrage. Because it came from a cheese eater, no one will pay much attention to it. Hey Angela Merkel, There's some property to the east of you that is available. Your country has taken it twice before, this time there won't be much contesting.

Don't let them breathe

If Hamas, Hizbollah and numerous other organizations are considered terrorist organizations why are they allowed to survive? If you have a cancerous tumor do you let it continue to grow or do you have it cut out? It makes no sense to me how these groups are even allowed a time to breathe. They should be continuously on the run looking over their shoulders at people attempting to kill them. It's bad enough they are allowed to survive, the fact that there are governments willing to negotiate with them is beyond the pale.

A terrorist, especially the modern islamic ones, will never be satisfied nor content. Hamas has attained the Gaza strip and wants more. Hizbollah has Southern Lebanon and wants the whole country. Terror groups in India, Pakistan, Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines, and Africa want more than a little piece of land. They want the whole country.

No terrorist organization should ever be allowed a second of reprieve. They should be watching their members taken out one by one or in groups. The UN and leftist bureaucrats may not know who they enemy is but the terrorists do. They mince no words informing us that they are our enemy and we are theirs. The only way to defeat these islamic terrorists is with death. They seek it, we might as well give it to them.

How many more innocents must die while politicians debate on how to appease these terrorists? Enough already. Get to fighting or bow towards mecca.

Why did G-d...?

Why has G-d allowed horrific events to occur? This question gets asked quite a bit. All of the genocide and murder is followed by Why G-d? How often does a person ask, why did WE allow this to happen? Why didn't WE do something to prevent this? What reasoning do we use to think that G-d should intervene and prevent every horrific incident from occurring? If you tell a child to not touch the hot stove top and then every time he attempts to touch it you physically prevent him what has he learned? If you have attempted to explain to him the results of touching the hot stove and he continues to want to touch it, at some point he is going to touch it anyway.

We human beings continue to forget or blatantly ignore results of historical actions. Rules and laws are put in place to provide punishment for certain undesirable actions. For some the law prevents them from doing the act. For others it has no impact they will do it anyway.

If G-d were to intervene in every horrific incident we would learn nothing. Actually, despite the fact that we have numerous representations of human failure, we continue to perform the same acts. This is not the fault of G-d, this is our own stupidity.

Why did we allow the holocaust to occur? Why did we allow Pol Pot to kill a million Vietnamese? Why did we allow Stalin to kill millions of Russians? Why did we allow Mao to kill millions of Chinese? Why do we allow millions of Africans to be slaughtered today? Despite these examples we continue to allow it. What would G-d intervening do? We haven't learned with the examples right in front of us.
