At first I thought Barack Obama was a socialist at best and a communist at worst. After listening to his speech in Berlin I realize I was wrong. He is a devout globalist. Borders, Taxes, Laws, and everything associated with the Nation/State idea are archaic approaches to society. Those millions of men and women who died defending their nation are quaint but outdated. Not only should the American government take responsibility for the welfare of every American citizen, it should take the responsibility to feed, clothe, and house the entire planet.
Personal responsibility is overrated. It is the responsibility of every person to provide a major chunk of their income to a governmental bureaucracy in order to take care of someone 8,000 miles away. These walls that xenophobes call borders have outlived their usefulness and should be erased. After all, all cultures are equal. All governments only want whats best for their people. All people are concerned more about their neighbors than they are about their own families.
Mr. Obama is extremely naive and overly idealistic. This is a very dangerous combination. Whenever a politicians talks about help the weakest among us he is really talking about taking more money from individuals and creating more poverty and hunger. If you think we are having an economic crisis now, just imagine what it will be like when the tax rates go up and people have less net income than they do now. All those people that are struggling but still surviving will find themselves in the handout line while their house sits in foreclosure.
In America an individual has the ability to make something of themselves. They are victim to their own bad decisions and are rewarded for the correct ones. Their own hardwork can lift them out of poverty and their own idleness can put them there. Nowhere else in the world is this possible. We were founded as a nation of laws. Now those laws are being scoffed by out own representatives that enact these laws.
I am an American. I am neither hyphenated nor am I a citizen of the world. My life has been a journey of my own selection. My successes and failures are mine and mine alone. My fellow Americans have made the same journeys. Many have succeeded and many have failed. In the end they utilized their own G-d given freedom to make their choices. When the government takes away responsibility to be replaced by bureaucracy, freedom has been erased.
If America elects Mr. Obama to be it's next President a portion of this country will be faced with an extreme ideology. An ideology that will economically and morally finish the bankrupting of this nation. That is, unless their is a major revolt. It has been awhile since America has dealt with a revolution. There just may be one coming.
By the way, while America is dealing with its internal problems it won't have the ability to bail everyone else out.
