Our Union is in for a major test. Not since the Civil War have people talked seriously about secession. Though the media and the leftists in charge may ridicule and downplay it, the rabble has been roused.
Though there is talk of secession, the reason for that secession is the equivalant of American Revolution. The American people have stated their case accordingto civil law and have been ignored. This sounds alot like the mistake King George made a couple hundred years ago. The American people do not want to destroy the institutions that have been set up, they just want them to act according to their founding principles. These principles are to be found in the Declaration of Independance and the Constitution.
The government is not in position to control the people, but the other way around. Much of the blame for the present problems, both governmental and econmical rest at the feet of the American people. For too long the people have taken for granted the liberties and freedoms that we have. We have ignored learning our history, both past and recent. We have allowed politicians convince us that we can continue to borrow, never pay back, and everything will be okay. We have complained about the corruption and deceit in our politicians yet we continue to re-elect them. When an honest man dares to throw his hat in the ring, he is castigated for the mistakes of his youth and sent away humiliated.
The leftists who have screamed for the last 8 years about how terrible this country is are now in charge. In return for being allowed to speak their mind and post their opinions everywhere for all to see, they have decided that they should shut off any opinions that don't match their's. Over the last 8 years they have utilized the media outlet to convince people that it is the "Extreme Right" that is fascists. SInce people lack a passable skill of comprehension, they have succeeded on a large scale. The word fascist was assigned to George W. Bush, Dick Cheney, and their fellow neo-cons. Has anyone bothered to look up the definition of Fascism?
Main Entry: fas·cism
Pronunciation: \'fa-?shi-z?m also 'fa-?si-\
Function: noun
Etymology: Italian fascismo, from fascio bundle, fasces, group, from Latin fascis bundle & fasces fasces
Date: 1921
1often capitalized : a political philosophy, movement, or regime (as that of the Fascisti) that exalts nation and often race above the individual and that stands for a centralized autocratic government headed by a dictatorial leader, severe economic and social regimentation, and forcible suppression of opposition 2: a tendency toward or actual exercise of strong autocratic or dictatorial control <early instances of army fascism and brutality — J. W. Aldridge>
— fas·cist \-shist also -sist\ noun or adjective often capitalized
— fas·cis·tic \fa-'shis-tik also -'sis-\ adjective often capitalized
— fas·cis·ti·cal·ly \-ti-k(?-)le\ adverb often capitalized
You may not see Barack Obama as a Dictatorial Leader, but everything else fits nice and snug.
While the left tried to label George W. Bush as Adolph Hitler, this made as much sense as the Arabs trying to denounce the Third Reich which their forefathers supported. Adolph Hitler was a Socialist, thus the party name National SOCIALIST Party (NAZI). Therefore Adolph Hitler was a Leftist. So was Pol Pot, Mao, and Josef Stalin. I believe it was Senator Edward Kennedy who contacted the Soviets under the table to apologize when Ronald Reagan called the Soviet Union what it was, an evil empire.
These are the type of people in charge of America now. The ineptitude and inaffectiveness of the Republican perty contributed to this present situation. The apathy, ignorance, and self-immolation of the American people provided the track this train is on. At some point this ride has to stop. If it is not stopped soon, the ending will be a catastrophe not seen since the fall of Rome. America will finds itself a mere footnote in world history.
