The problem with Vietnam wasn't the fact that the answer was political. The problem was limited warfare. We didn't fight an all out war like we did in Europe. We stopped when we should have been pushing. The same problem exists now. We didn't fight an all out war and defeat anybody. But, Ted show's his ignorance of history. If I remember correctly he was part of the government when we withdrew from Vietnam. That makes hum responsible for the carnage that followed.

With representatives like Kennedy, Kerry, and Frank, Massachusetts has got to be second only to California is ineptitude with self aggrandizement.
