It appears that no matter what President Bush does to go after terrorists and their leaders, he is wrong. the recent bombing in Somalia is a perfect example of this. Every "Progressive" site I have visited is calling him evil for the action. A 4 year old girl supposedly died in the bombing and that's all that anyone wants to talk about. How many thousands died because we ran away over a decade ago? How many more would have did had Ethiopia not supported the Somali government. You can call the Somali government a puppet if you wish. This definition seems to be used when any government is supportive of US policy. even Tony Blair was being called a puppet.
The terrorists live among us. They hide within our communities. The go to social functions and eat in our houses. When it comes time to extract them, innocents die. This is a tragedy of humanity. If they would hide on the fringes they couldn't hide for long. As for Somalia, this is the tactics that Hizbollah, Hamas, Islamic Jihad, Al Aqsa, and others have been using for years. They terrify the people surrounding them in to silence and then when the group is attacked, innocents die. My recommendation, If you know they are evil men, don't let them move in. Easier said than done, but, an option. Protect your neighborhood. In the United States drug dealers have moved into neighborhoods and brought their scum with them because the existing neighbors refused to do anything about it. This is not the fault of the government, it is the fault of the people. They would rather hide or move away. In countries like Somalia or Sudan, there are very few places to move to or to hide in. They MUST confront these terrorists.
I am proud of the fact that we have a presence in SOmalia and are actually doing something. There was an article in yesterdays Frontpagemag.com that explained how we are involved. I included a link to it on a post yesterday. Damn the naysayers. Diplomacy will not work in dealing with terror organizations. This only gives them undeserved credibility. The only thing that works with terrorists is a bullet in the head. Kill 'em all before they kill us.
