I take a couple of days off and what is different? People fighting in Africa. Islamists saying they are being mistreated and it's either Israel or America's fault. Oil prices have gone up. Momo Ahmadinejad is telling the world to pi$$ off. SYria claims it want's to talk with Israel. More people died in Iraq. Democrats say that government is the answer to everything. It doesn't appear that there has been any change. I bet I could stop reading a newspaper, an online news story, or watching TV news for a year and wouldn't miss out on anything. I could pick up the stories at the end of the year and all I would have to learn is a few new names. What a wonderful world we've built.
That being said, I'll pick up where I left off. Can somebody give me a reason why Momo, Hassan Nassrallah, Khalid Mishaal, and Moqtada Al-Sadr are still alive? I didn't think so. Why is it that Ethiopia is fighting back and we are playing political games? Wasn't it Ethiopia the country we helped raise money for to avoid famine? Now they are actually fighting to protect their country from the Islamists in Somalia. How is it that they get it and we don't? Why is anybody willing to sit down with Momo's lapdog Bashir? Would you allow the devil's son into your house?
I don't see how the ceasefire with Hamas and Gaza has positively affected anything. Rockets are still being sent into Israel and the Israeli's are doing nothing. How does this benefit Israel? It doesn't. Where is the anger in the Israeli streets? Where are the protests. More importantly, where is the sense of self-protection? Why aren't the individual Israeli's doing something about it? If their government won't protect them then they need to take the initiative for themselves.
This just in, Islam is NOT a religion of peace. There are peaceful Muslims but the overall religion is one of conquest and domination. Here's my New Year's resolution. I will continue to write about the actions of the "religion of peace." I will write about the Israeli response to the attacks on it's sovereignty. I will continue to write about the action or inaction taken by our government. There will be rant's and there will be amateur analysis. I will not shut up.
